Pros

They paid me when they said they would

Cons

Micromanagement is RAMPANT. Turnover is astronomically high. Both owners have their heads in the clouds while wearing their rose colored glasses. Unless you are homeless or about to be, I wouldn't waste your time applying or working here.

Pros

-Good opportunity to learn, which is great to improve your resume

Cons

-You are nothing but a number to them -They don't care about their employees; they only care about metrics -Their metrics are unrealistic, unless you work through lunch, take minimal bathroom breaks, and don't take a breather after each ticket. -If you don't hit your metrics, you'll get a warning. If you don't improve enough for them, you'll get fired. -They will ask for your thoughts and opinions, making you think you have a voice, but they won't make any changes. -Middle management doesn't actually manage you. Upper management controls everything and micromanages everything. Middle management is essentially a puppet controlled by upper management. -You can tell middle management your concern, but they don't have the power to help you; they have to wait to speak with upper management. So they can't make things better even if they wanted to -They allow certain people the benefit of WFH, but not everyone, even if their work can be done remotely. -Sexist. If you are a woman, I don't recommend working here, especially if you plan to have a family in the future. They will give better benefits to new dad's vs a woman who was actually the one going through labor. -You are overworked to the max. -They claim they have work-life balance, but unless you burn yourself out, expect to be fired -They don't keep their word. We've had to fight for someone to get promoted because he was promised to be made into a level 2 tech, but they just kept pushing it aside. -Understaffed, and they don't seem to care that techs are overworked because of it. -High turnover rate... either because they fire people who don't hit their numbers, or because people are over being exhausted and underappreciated, and realize they deserve so much better, so that they quit.

Pros

Not many pros, other than learning a lot and being able to fluff your resume so you can leave after a couple years and get a much better role at a much better organization

Cons

- Well below average compensation - You are the epitome of a "worker bee". There isn't a microcosm of work-life balance - You are constantly being micromanaged and under a microscope by Shane - Company is entirely numbers driven with not very much appreciation for the work being done. If numbers are even slightly not met, anything else you do is completely overlooked.
