Pros

-Pay was ok -Flexible hours -Workload was moderate -Most people were friendly -Work from home

Cons

-Higher-ups were incredibly rude -Didn't explain instructions thoroughly -Wanted work done immediately I didn't even get to work here for a whole month. I got let go after only 2 weeks on account of not having enough work for me to do (then why were you hiring??) I had to take a skills test before I was even considered for this position, so it's not like I'm bad at what I do. They would poorly explain instructions and when I asked questions they said I wasn't paying attention, but they would also yell at me for NOT asking questions and say that I didn't care enough to ask. They would want me to finish assignments in little to no time and get angry with me when I was a few minutes late. Me and a bunch of other new staff got let go after working for only 2 weeks. All this company did was waste our time.

Thanks for sharing. To put the above in context, it's true that Sonata Learning tracks time-on-task very closely. As a micro-sized business serving nonprofits, we don't have big budgets and someone taking signficiantly longer than expected can jeopardize the project. We also understand that pre-employment skills tests can only show so much, and have learned to recognize when a new contractor/employee getting over an initial learning curve versus someone struggling with tasks in a way that is unlikely to improve. Sorry if it didn't work out, and sincerely hope you've found a good situation elsewhere since then.

Pros

Friendly coworkers Most people were friendly/willing to help

Cons

I'm somewhat convinced the people giving top reviews never worked here, the president was very rude and disrespectful. The management was chaotic and I felt anxious every time I had to login. I was barely even here though as I got let go pretty quickly along with 3 or 4 other new hires. Surprisingly I was relieved to get let go as I absolutely hated this job. I'm not the best at graphic design but I'm not the worst either, as I did pass the 2 hour test thing I had to take before hiring me. Management barely helped me figure out my payments too when I had problems getting paid. Bottom line don't work here.

Thanks for the kind words. And yes, it's tough being a micro-small business serving giant organizations... really appreciate the effort the team puts in to keep clients happy.
