Pros

I have tried very hard to fill in this section, but unfortunately I am not able to come up with any pros about this company. The only good thing I can say is that Synpulse MANAGEMENT CONSULTING does have a fancy (fraudulent) company name and official website to attract (mislead) people to join the company.

Cons

1. THIS IS NOT A MANAGEMENT CONSULTING COMPANY. IT IS PURELY IT CONSULTING. 2. The lowest pay you can ever find in the market compared to other IT consulting companies, not even to mention management consulting. 3. Limited personal career development opportunities. Have no right to choose project. It totally depends on luck which project you will be assigned to. 4. There is no structure in the company, no structured way to evaluate employees' performance, no transparency about salary increment and promotion criteria. 5. The management does not listen to you. They do not care about your opinion, your concern, your feeling, especially your personal career development.

Thank you for your feedback about Synpulse. We can understand that due to the very limited time and project exposure you have had at Synpulse before we mutually agreed to part ways, it could have led to the incorrect perceptions about the company's general nature of work. However, in order not to confuse the wider audience we are compelled to state some facts to clarify that your comments are factually incorrect. The largest part of our revenues in Singapore come from business consulting projects where there is no relation to IT consulting. Of course, IT consulting is also a core part of our business as we believe that understanding and implementing IT solutions is a strong factor in designing robust business capabilities. We thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and wish you all the best for your future endeavors.

Not hiring, as they are firing.

Pros

Nice colleagues. Younger age group in the company.

Cons

No vision. Bad execution of policies - many were made to go on unpaid leave or asked to leave due to over hiring in the previous year and lack of projects this year. - notice period increased from one month to three months. - They claimed the bench has improved but that's only because 50+ employees were asked to go/unpaid leave till date. More to come by the end of this year. - Partners and Associate Partners are not able to bring in new clients/projects. - Managers have nothing to do and start "taking over" (claiming) credit for existing business development efforts done by consultants. - A lot of employees are currently looking out as well. We foresee this company will not last long.

Pros

None Worth Mentioning: Despite a few decent colleagues, they can’t outweigh the overwhelmingly negative aspects of working here.

Cons

Deceptive Hiring Practices: The company operates on an unspoken policy of hiring employees for specific projects and then firing them once the project ends. There's no real job security, and you’re merely a temporary resource. Low Pay: Compensation is far below industry standards. Despite demanding work and high expectations, the pay is insufficient and does not reflect the effort required. Unfair Leave Policies: If you're on the bench between projects, you’re pressured to use personal leave or face negative consequences. This policy unfairly penalizes employees for being in-between assignments. Forced Sabbaticals: Employees without current projects are often coerced into taking unpaid sabbaticals. This hidden policy creates financial instability and adds to job insecurity. Mass Layoffs: The CEO’s decisions led to massive layoffs in 2023, and despite promises in mid-2024 to halt further terminations, layoffs continued unabated. This demonstrates a lack of commitment to employees. Promotion Based on Flattery, Not Performance: Promotions are not based on merit or actual work performance but on how well you can ingratiate yourself with upper management. Only those who excessively flatter and align with the higher-ups are promoted, leaving competent employees sidelined.
