Pros

Some of the people are wonderful.

Cons

Management is self absorbed and doesn’t care or listen to its people. The organization is incredibly beurocratic and procedure driven. Upper management does not care about the individual. HR is not there for you , despite what they tell you.

Pros

One of the things I appreciate most about working at TC Transcontinental - Paris is the people. This is a place where you can roll up your sleeves, ask questions, challenge the process, and actually make things better. It’s fast-paced, sometimes a little messy, often complex and always collaborative. You’re trusted to own your work. You’re supported when things get tough. And you’re surrounded by people who care deeply about doing things right for our clients and for each other. It’s not perfect (no workplace is), but it’s honest work with good people and that goes a long way. Grateful to be part of this team.

Cons

There is no Eiffel Tower in Paris, ON much to the dismay of our out of town visitors.

Pros

There are some great people in the mix who care.

Cons

Communication is non-existent from the top down and all around. Some leaves? No communication. Manager would disappear without notice to the team. No plan to cover work or support the team. The calendar would show as busy in Teams all day. No ability to connect. Emails go with no response. No job description. Pay is incredibly low but will lure you in with limitless dangling carrots that never materialize. Egos are uncontrollable within middle management and upper leadership. Most of the upper leaders were grandfathered into their roles. No plan. No morale. No culture. Unwilling to leverage the expertise and value employees have. If you didn't accumulate that experience at TC, it doesn't exist. Felt unseen each day. Zero training and then wonder why people can't ramp up quickly. Passive aggressive attitudes are permitted.
