Pros

Great exposure to the UN system. Good work life balance. Interns are not being overworked. You learn a lot about the different projects UNDP does around the world, and people are generally very supportive of your growth.

Cons

Due to the hierarchical system of the UN, you will not be given too much responsibility to shape and manage things. Due to the duration of the project and time it takes for things to be approved, a lot of your job is already executing programmes and projects that exist. Nonetheless, if you push and show initiative, you can take more responsibility.
