It is difficult to grow, very competitive, and has lengthy processes. You have to be an outstanding candidate and have an even more outstanding interview, and even so, you might have to apply to several positions to be selected.

Best agency of the UN to work for. Projects are global, new reports published daily (!) and colleagues collaborate across countries. Supervisors will train and teach you plus internally UNDP offers online training courses.
Cons
Stipend for interns depends on country location, job security afterwards is uncertain, it may open up new opportunities for volunteering or sponsorship-based activities. It’s what you make out of it!
