They throw you under the bus in a heartbeat. Workload can be very overbearing, with little to no help from management or team members. Team members are Not friendly and tend pivot to backstabbing and hearsay. Management is a Complete joke! They Micro-Manage every task, add un-meetable deadlines then complain if they're not met. Not to mention, you take an OSHA exam that takes a full week to complete, which you are tested on daily, have to watch company videos for the first Full week, no work, you literally watch company videos pushing a corporate mentality. There's a checklist of corporate agenda you must complete by certain deadlines. Verbatim, sink or swim. Pointless management meetings that take up time. Management is little to No help! They claim to have great benefits, but in reality they're average t best. Lot's of smoke and mirrors and back-stabbery! CAD people are set in there ways and do not like suggestions for improvements!

Not many, admin support is low, PM's expected to do a great deal, hiring has been slow recently

Competition firm provides a slightly higher pay. Benefits package ain't great.

Lower pay with difficulty to get meaningful increases. Constant stress on billability and budgets. Heavily encouraged to not bill admin for required meetings and tasks.

Work can be inconsistent (more of an industry con)

You don't receive training in technical aspects of the job often. Everyone in the office is overworking due to understaffing. A lot of quality control issues wind up popping up due to the time constraints.
