      Not a bad employer with lots of perks - MSP with heavy push on logging everything you do

      Pros

      - They have great clients, and well supported by many areas of the Business - Great solutions provided to their clients - Great pay - Flexible management - Car included incl. fuel card for you to drive 24x7 (limits on fuel if for personal use, of course)

      Cons

      - MSP style requirements - the billing time requirement felt like you had to shorten your lunch break or over estimate time to tick that box. No time for research or testing other solutions, unless you can bill the customer. - Try and be a healthy IT person, go for regular breaks (i.e. stepping away from the screen for a few mins, getting out and eating lunch/walking at lunch) meant couldn't log enough time each day. I know now why many other collegues ate lunch at their desks.

      Pros

      Viatek genuinely lives its values, especially around personal development, individual autonomy and knowledge sharing. The people make all the difference. We have a strong team across multiple locations but work together as one team. Management is very supportive and encourages personal growth with leadership training, career opportunities and mentoring.

      Cons

      Communication and streamlining processes can be difficult across the large territory, but they are seen as challenges, rather than obstacles.
