Pros

Good employee benefits, learning experience in the beginning and made some great friends with working team.

Cons

There is ALOT wrong here. The Singapore office is understaffed and everyone is stretched to their max and more. People are expected to work way past their hours even though the company advices "to take breaks". - The director that got hired this year was the main reason why most of the team left/still leaving. His absence from team meetings, no relationship with clients, no empathy for anyone in the team, condescending and narcissistic attitude and 0 support made us question why there was no action taken by the company. Even after trainings conducted by the HR, there was no change seen in the Director's attitude or way of leading the team. - There were empty promises made for help, promotions and support which were never fulfilled. - No growth for employees - The Director is now leaving the company but the damage he has done to the talents in the team will sadly remain. The new people/people who are left now are being bombarded with more work and it's really not fair.

Pros

. Good client profile . Tagged to GroupM's name. DO NOT use the name Wavemaker when you are out there, not many are familiar . Some nice people here (but they are rarer than Rosmah's pink diamond)

Cons

. Median tenure is 2 years or less. . Recent departure of APAC CEO rings a bell on the poor leadership who manage the business like a jurassic park, old fashioned and rigid. Lol, can't believe the whole office is keeping quiet about this. It is like the person just vanished out of this air and from human history. . Some managers, directors and heads are nothing but job delegators, when you ask them about some media stuffs, they will not know. Especially some client leads, they do nothing but asking their minions to prepare PowerPoint slides and they present them to the clients. Then after that goes drinking with clients, this sounds like some highly paid escort. . Lack of tact is a signature for some of the managers and heads - these people probably climb the corporate ladder by kowtowing and currying flavor to the seniors while being patronizing to their juniors . Work you to the bones. Too many work and there was a hiring freeze. Those on top aren't willing to lend a helping hand. Just lip service (NATO) . A lot of dinosaurs who do not know their stuffs here. Should stuff some managers or directors back to Media 101 class. Utterly no sense of embarrassment at all. . Swim or sink environment. You will be thrown a guidebook to follow everything with little to no guidance. Onboarding is virtually non-existent . Some senior management had been stuck here for too long. Imagine if you throw him/her to another environment, (s)he will be shredded for his/her incapability. Too bad that it was such a great company 4 years ago, now it's just some living fossils running their Jurassic Park show.

Pros

Get to learn if you have a good manager. People around are helpful and friendly.

Cons

Expect you to work overtime. Honestly, it's only running cause of few loyal employees. The good ones realise what's going on and move on. Lesser salary than most competitors
