During this two months of circuit breaker, CrimsonLogic has continued to be dedicated to ensuring that our services continue to run smoothly for our clients. While the majority of us are working from home, some of our teams still report to the office due to the nature of their jobs. Our Call Centre is one such team who works tirelessly to serve our customers both global and local, 24/7. They share with us how the Circuit Breaker has affected their daily operations. We got in touch with one of our interns, Jerome Chin, to share with us about his internship journey at CrimsonLogic: "My journey with CrimsonLogic as an intern for the past 6 months has given me a deep insight of the IT industry. I am extremely grateful to be working under my boss as he is a great mentor. Not only did he show me the ropes, he also emphasized on essential soft skills needed to be successful in the industry and in life. I have learnt so much more than I could ever imagine, and I wish I could have accomplished much more! However, unfortunately during the #internship, the recent Coronavirus pandemic and circuit breaker have slowed things down in the office. If possible, I look forward to coming back to intern during my university summer breaks for more exposure." CrimsonLogic is proud to be apart of nurturing and developing our interns to become future IT professionals of tomorrow.
Congratulations to our fifth batch of Global Technology Associates on graduating from the 20-month Global Technology Associate Program (GTAP). With everyone working from home, we were unable to have a physical celebration together. However, this didn't stop us from using technology as an enabler to hold a virtual ceremony instead. We provide young IT students with an enriching internship journey. Yan Han, an intern working on robotic processing automation, shares his experience: "I started working in CrimsonLogic in January and have since learnt a lot from my colleagues and supervisor. The working environment in CL is very nurturing and conducive – colleagues are more than willing to share their knowledge and lend a helping hand. My supervisor has been very understanding; he gives us a lot of freedom in learning, allowing us to choose our own platforms to learn more about the software that we need to use. He often emphasizes on the importance of building soft skills rather than just the technical skills, thereby encouraging our holistic growth. I am grateful that the company prioritizes the welfare and health of employees, giving out COVID19 protection kits to keep us healthy and safe. They also have a recreational room for employees to engage in various physical activities! My time in CrimsonLogic has been exciting; I learnt how to automate processes and made several new friends."

In midst of the ongoing pandemic of #covid19, while India is gripped by the crisis observing a lockdown and social distancing, millions have been stranded with no income and no food. Many families are sleeping hungry – in their homes, stranded at railway stations and at state borders. In this great hour of need, CrimsonLogic India employees voluntarily come together to #dogood and donated SGD 5,888 to Akshaya Patra Foundation who are providing cooked meals and ration kits to the people in distress through its central kitchens. Catering in over 200 locations throughout the city with the help of over 300 cooks and hundreds of volunteers, fresh hot meals are delivered using electric rickshaws to more than 500,000 needy every single day. As on 29th April, Akshaya Patra has provided 11,609,444 cooked meals to and 425,841 grocery kits to the poor and needy.
