I was recruited to HealthTap as an Android Developer and came straight out of graduate school. I had been at Stony Brook University in NY and earned my graduate degree in electrical engineering. Now I’ve been at HealthTap for four and a half years so I’ve witnessed a lot of change. I still love the work I do but now I love where I do it even more. Our deadlines & targets are clear, every year we are launching something new to market, and I always feel like there’s a lot to do while still having the room to constantly improve quality. My favorite part of my job is that Android is on an open platform so I get to utilize a lot of enterprises to integrate systems and medical devices. When I’m not working, I stay #healthierhappierlonger by playing video games, watching movies, hiking when it isn’t raining, hunting Pokémon, and playing badminton (which I played through high school and as an undergrad at Beijing Institute of Technology). #IAmHealthTap -Wuhao Ouyang, Android Developer
I’m originally from Illinois where I studied Civil Engineering at the University of Illinois. I lived in Colorado for a year before making my way to California and, eventually, to HealthTap. The people who work at HealthTap are the best. Everyone here seems to genuinely care about making a positive difference in the world. It's a real privilege to be part of a company that is both mission-driven and impactful. At HealthTap, #healthierhappierlonger is more than just a tagline, it’s a core value of the people who work here. I enjoy maintaining physical health through weightlifting, running, and hiking. Recently, I've been trying to pay much closer attention to my diet as well (hard to do around so much amazing Bay Area food!) When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking, working out, sketching, and listening to podcasts. #IAmHealthTap -Jackrin “Jack” Walsh, Customer Success Specialist
I'm originally from Taiwan. I went to college at USC and have a background in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Everyone who knows me knows I am a neophile, technophile, and fitness enthusiast. These three characteristics made HealthTap an obvious career choice! Working as an Android Developer at HealthTap gives me the opportunity to be creative, be innovative, and work toward a healthier human race. Personally, I live #healthierhappierlonger via weight training and intermittent fasting. Professionally, I help make our app the best it can be in order to help as many people as possible who come to HealthTap wanting to #feelgood. My favorite part about working at HealthTap is the start-up spirit…and the dogs! I get to work around people who really care about each other and the world around us. I’m excited to see where the future takes us! #IAmHealthTap -Zih Siang, Android Developer
