The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at APCO Worldwide (New York, NY) in May 2011
Interview
Found the internship through browsing the web, and felt I had the qualifications to apply to APCO. Initial online application required answering standard questions (why APCO) that sort of thing, as well as writing a pretend op-ed to test writing skills. Then I was moved on to a phone interview with the same sort of standard questions (what publications do you read? give examples of your strengths). I had to wait a few days after the initial phone interview to be moved on to a second one, where it was a bit more about personality traits (what do you do in your free time). A day or two after that I was extended an offer.
3 interview rounds (1- 15 min phone, 2- 45min GoogleMeet, 3- written assignment). The phone interview was more straight forward than expected. I'm not sure if the recruiter and I just clicked or if they typically weed applicants out during round 2.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a project or accomplishment that is near-and-dear to your heart.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at APCO Worldwide in Apr 2025
Interview
the first round was cv screening as i applied online. if passed, then will follow by hr interview (around 20 mins) virtual exam (which takes 2 hrs) and then final interview with three senior consultants.
