My Wildest Interview Experience
I just had the most bizarre interview! It started with the first interviewer, who skipped introductions entirely and immediately launched into a technical question. We went 57 minutes into the hour, and when he finally asked if I had questions, I did. But instead of answering, he remembered more interview questions and kept going for another five minutes until the other interviewer had to intervene.
The second interviewer was fine, thankfully.
Then came the third. Mid-explanation, he stopped me to say he had to join another meeting. He then asked if we could reschedule his 1-hour session for after 5 PM or even tomorrow! I almost chuckled and politely suggested meeting during lunch instead.
The fourth interviewer was truly unbelievable. He asked a question, and after I answered, he claimed my response was "rubbish," couldn't "be implemented," and "wasn't efficient." He started raising his voice, practically yelling. I was in disbelief. Then he shouted, "I don't want to talk about phase arrays! Let's talk about something else," and asked another question. I froze for about ten seconds before politely telling him I didn't appreciate him raising his voice or his aggressive comments. He yelled back, "I don't want to talk about this!" and asked yet another question.
At that point, I took three deep breaths and calmly told him I was stopping the interview. I thanked him and ended the call.
