I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (New York, NY) in Jul 2015
Interview
Basic group interview. Around 15 people in a conference room. Apple recruiting reps have you intro yourself out loud in front of the group. Then they show a video about diversity and potential at Apple. Then they make everyone talk about a scenario where they went above and beyond for a customer. The groups are then separated into groups of 4-5 and asked to role play as customers with problems that walk into an Apple store.

Interview
The interview process was structured and professional. It started with a brief phone screening where basic questions about experience and leadership style were discussed. After that, I had an in-person interview with a senior manager focused on customer service approach, team management skills, and problem-solving in stressful situations. The atmosphere was calm but slightly formal, and the interviewer paid close attention to real-life examples.

Question 1
The main question was: “How would you handle a situation where a team member consistently underperforms despite coaching and feedback?”
Quick and effective with lots of time to answer questions. Comfortable setting. Nice air conditioning. Good lighting. Kind people. I need 30 words for a free account. Not there yet. But close.
