Process is VERY time consuming, I put other interviews and offers on hold for nearly 2 months while going through Apples interview process which is a bit ridiculous considering the salaries paid for Irish office. I was informed there would be 4 interviews but didn’t expect them to take so long to be booked. First and second interviews were very smooth and went great with the European time, the interview had a proper structure and gave me a chance to show my experiences and technical knowledge. I got approved for the third round of interviews with American team which was a bit of a mess, they seemed like they didn’t have much experience interviewing, the questions were confusing and they didn’t make clear what they were asking really or expecting. Worst part is a pretending call with the interviewer which was pretty much “how would fix a teams issue during a call”. I tried asking a few questions before the role play of what their call structure looks like or if I should follow a call structure and systems I current work with but no much information given before we start “the call”. (My current job has Teamviewer to connect to clients and fix issues, I asked if I could use that in the role play but no answer eas given). I found the role play thing rushed and confusing, as if they were making up the questions as they go and it was unfair as I wasn’t given room to showcase my experiences. In the end, nearly 2 months of my life wasted because of a badly structured interview and at that point I was well prepared for about 20 technical questions apple related.
