I applied through university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Capital One (Montreal, QC) in Oct 2011
Interview
My interview started with a business case. The interviewer told me about their credit card business and how the company needs to write off unpaid balances on accounts that have been unpaid for over 6 months. She asks me about my opinion on possible recovery strategies. She then expands on the case: average accounts have a $2000 unpaid balance. You are able to negotiate with clients to repay 60% of their balance and waive the remaining balance. 20% of accounts will agree to this offer. You need to calculate how much the company will receive. Your analyst presents you with another strategy... you need to compare it to the first and see which is more profitable. I was asked to do a break even analysis..calculate a cannibalization rate between two strategies. I was stuck a few times and the interviewer helped me out, rephrased the questions etc.
The next hour was with two other people and consisted of 3 behavioural questions; they wanted a STAR format answer ( Situation, Task, Action, Result)
1) Tell me about a time when you had to work in a group and convinced your team mates to take your approach.
2) Tell me about a time where you had to choose between several paths of action to come to a solution
3) Tell me about a conflict and how you resolved it.

The interviewer was friendly he asked me Quantitative questions on a streaming platform, too much math involved. I did not reach the answer though the interviewer tried to help so got the rejection.

I thought I did really well, but they emailed me back in a few hours, rejecting me. This was for the online test before the power day, and they didn't even give me a score.
Phone interview and then a follow up email regarding mini case interview. Then there would be final interview process. Recruiter reached out via Linkedin to schedule phone interview and scheduled a mini case interview
