I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA)
Interview
I applied to Capital One through campus recruiting. After taking a fairly easy aptitude test, I was contacted to arrange a phone interview. The phone screen lasted roughly thirty minutes, and involved a few fit questions and a very easy case (testing basic algebra).
Second round consisted of 2 cases and an extensive behavioral/fit interview, each around 45 min. The cases were very easy; however, I started to solve one incorrectly, and though I caught and corrected my own mistake, I'm fairly sure it was too late. I did not receive the fabled third case (nor did any of the other ~10 candidates interviewing that day), and unsurprisingly got a rejection roughly 2 weeks later.
It seems like a great job: fair starting pay, light hours, and well-cared-for employees. Despite being in Richmond, the campus was extremely nice. It had athletic fields, a gym, multiple dining halls, and a treehouse for meetings.

Question 1
Describe very obscure situations using STAR format
1 online assessment followed by Power Day with 1 product and 2 cases. Power Day was quite tricky with concepts being combined and tested in different forms. Staying calm and taking in every word is crucial in keeping up with the casing.

I thought I did really well, but they emailed me back in a few hours, rejecting me. This was for the online test before the power day, and they didn't even give me a score.
