I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Washington, DC)
Interview
Recruiters were very clear about the process, and worked with me every step of the way. I was interviewed by 4-6 people, and it broke things up nicely. Everyone very much put me at ease. Recommendation: Just prove that you know your stuff, and try to make sure that your past experience aligns with the job description.

Question 1
What experience do you have with social analytics?
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Toronto, ON) in Sept 2011
Interview
Capital One has an excellent hiring process whereby they work collectively with you to determine the best fit. It doesn't matter what position you applied for, if they think your skills would fit better in another role, they will let you decide if that's the position you'd rather have by providing a lot of support (i.e. talk to people in the business, get an idea of the responsibilities in different roles). I think FIT and LONG TERM commitment is what they're looking for, a lot of the people I spoke to have been working there for a long time. Currently, Capital One is relatively small in Canada, they have almost a start-up culture, its very dynamic and a great place to start your career.
