Handling candidate communication this way can only make a company stronger and more trusted in the long run. My only suggestion for improvement is around the job description. The posting listed German as a “nice to have” rather than a strict requirement, yet the topic of German language skills played a significant role in the interview discussion. This can be misleading for candidates who take the description at face value. If fluent German is truly necessary for success in the role, I recommend stating it clearly as a requirement rather than an optional skill.
