Google's hiring freeze/slowdown resulted in a poor interview experience. The team wanted to hire me, but after hearing that they'd try to get an offer through the hiring committee, I didn't hear anything for 2 months. Then the position was closed. Understandable, but it wasn't well managed and I felt whiplashed.

Question 1
Tell me about a time that you received feedback from a senior leader. What was it, how did you respond, and what did you do about it?
Very structured and positive. It was all over zoom. More behavioral and technical questions were around SQL. Lot of emphasis on story. Why google? Want to see that you understand the culture very well.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Google
Interview
The process consisted of 5 interviews, 1 with HR, 3 separate interviews with a hiring panel, and 1 last one with the hiring manager to assess potential team fit. It was during a hiring spree the company had so the process was quite fast, with all interviews happening in a matter of 2-3 weeks.

Question 1
If you were planning on opening a bakery, what would you need to plan and consider to make it a success?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Singapore) in Dec 2024
Interview
I interviewd for a contract role and fhe hiring manager was rude, condescending and snobbish. Hands down the worst interview I have ever experienced. I think for interviews there should be some mutual respect
