I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Google in Aug 2020
Interview
1 online technical challenge that asked a debugging question, 1 behavioral interview with a recruiter, 2 30 minute whiteboard interviews with leetcode easy questions about string and string arrays and optimization.

Question 1
Find if a string is a Ceasar shift of another string.
It was good. The interviewer was very supportive. I asked questions about the problem I didn't understand. Overall it was a good experience. Though i didn't get the offer, the interview was a good experience
Two 45-min technical interviews, 15 mins gap between. Medium level of leetcode problems. Google has type of problems with levels. You start with one problem, then it develops. I think this is good practice, because it kinda breaks down the huge problem.
