I applied to the role online though Google Careers. A recruiter from a Randstad Enterprise supporting Google Engineering reached out to me. They sent me a Google Hiring Assessment, which I passed. A couple days later the recruiter emailed me saying that even though I passed the Hiring Assessment, they won't be moving forward with the interview process. The feedback included working on my coding skills even though my coding skills were not tested. As a result of this, I have to wait another 90 days before applying to another job for no fault of my own.
This is a total waste of candidate's time. If the recruiter doesn't think the candidate's experience fits the role they applied to, then they shouldn't be asking the candidate to complete a hiring assessment only to reject them later.

Schnelle Absage über die Statusmeldung im Portal. Ohne Referenz von internen Mitarbeitern ist es schwierig, in die Interviewphase zu gelangen. Anschließend ist man für 90 Tage im Bewerbungsverfahren blockiert, was eine erneute Bewerbung ebenfalls erschwert. Das ist nicht ganz fair, wenn die Gründe für die Absage sehr unterschiedlich sein können, wie etwa wenn zu viele Bewerber bereits im Prozess sind.
An external recruiter from randsad contacted me through LinkedIn. first interview is scheduled after 3 weeks. its about a coding question where i failed in writing complete code in 30 min.
