Developer In Applied Machine Learning Interview

      1 Apr 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meta in Mar 2017

      Interview

I was contacted by a recruiter and after a few emails I ended up having a 30 min screening interview over the phone. The person who contacted me was very friendly from the beginning. Even if she didn't had a technical background, she knew the different groups and projects very well and was able to figure where my skills and interests could potentially fit. The conversation did not involved real technical questions though and was more about to understand my background and experience. In the end, I was a better match for a different group and she referred me to another recruiter. For personal reasons, I finally declined to continue the process even if I was only at the beginning of it.
