I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Meta (Jacksonville, FL) in Jan 2021
Interview
The process was smooth and involved many different coding challenge and whiteboarding. I was very surprised by the number of managers in the interview, they seemed pretty knowledgeable too. The interview was exceedingly long though, taking about 8 days of worth of time and work.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta in Jul 2024
Interview
They have a very solid interview process. They keep you well-informed and have good resources available to help.
My interview comprised one coding phone screen, and after passing that, two coding sessions, one behavioral session, and one design session. In addition, I had an extra behavioral session for interviewer training.
Each coding session was two questions, geared towards Leetcode Easy/Medium. Nothing too hard. All fair.

Question 1
Given an array of numbers, find a local minimum. That is find i such that a[i-1] >= a[i] <= a[i+1].
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
Lightly negative. The interview is extremely time consuming, and focuses heavily on leetcode style coding puzzles. They provide copious preparation resources, but the amount of preparation they want you to do (minimum dozens of hours) is, in my opinion, unreasonable. If you're going to use up a week or more of someone's time, you should probably be paying them.

Question 1
A mix of whiteboard coding interviews, plus two design interviews and a behavioral interview, which were more reasonable.
