I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Meta (London, England) in Aug 2020
Interview
1. Portfolio submission
2. Remote interview with Senior manager
3. In-person interview:
3-0. Welcome
3-1. Self-introduction, Work presentation, QnA
3-2. Coffee break with one of the employees
3-3. In-depth discussions with senior managers
3-4. Test
Long and painful on purpose. Expect long interviews, including skill tests, back to back. They won’t accommodate for your time zone. Lots of recruiter coaching, way more than typical. Expect at least six or seven touchpoints in all.
I had 2 interviews before they decided to stop with the process. It was very standard. Nowadays for a design job you have a lot of interviews and it's a very long process.
