After the first phone discussion with the HR department the Technical interview took place by phone.
Very pleasant discussion with the interviewer.
At the beginning we discussed the theoretical part of every question (ARP, TCP, IP) and then some more practical cases. Even though I was well prepared for the theoretical part I was lacking the experience to answer the practical questions.
The interviewer found my background and theoretical knowledge good enough to give me some time (in the range of 6 months - 1 year) to prepare better for the practical part of the interview (run simulations, capture and analyze traffic etc.).
In overall it was a good experience and the attitude of the interviewer was very encouraging.
