I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TransUnion (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2018
Interview
I applied online for an internship at TransUnion. Got a call back from a recruiter a few days later saying they would like me to come in for an interview in a few months at their HQ in Chicago. Came onsite and there were like 80 students. Was an interesting layout where they talked to us about TU, gave us a tour of the building, and then went up to the conference room floor where there were a ton of TU staff from their various departments. We would line up and talk with the departments we were interested in and hand them our resumes and give a little spheel about ourselves. I was really interested in cybersecurity so spoke with them, and saw there was an empty line at the Procurement booth. Spoke with the Director and an employee there, handed them my resume and moved on. A few weeks later I get an offer letter from TU saying that I was selected by the Procurement team to be their intern! Internship started in the Summer that same year.
