The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group (Minnetonka, MN)
Interview
Video interview, then phone interview, then in person interview. The in person interview lasted less than an hour. I felt like the manager was required to interview me as a "diversity" candidate and never had any intention of hiring me - regardless of professional fit. I was only asked light "get to know you" type questions, but was interrupted on almost every answer to be (incorrectly) told my answer. I was not given an opportunity to correct or clarify. The interviewers spent the majority of the time telling me about the team and the software that they were developing. One interviewer went on a long discussion about the team's scrum velocity and talked at length about how even one week of vacation from one team member would kill their progress in what I believe to be a veiled reference to maternity leave's unacceptability. In addition to interrupting me and talking about themselves, the interviewers also told me multiple the reasons not to join the company. For example, one said the company didn't support career development and training (something the extensive recruiting documents I was given prior to the interview seems to contradict). Another interviewer told me there was too much bureaucracy so people don't like working for the company. One interviewer literally left in the middle. I was not asked a single question on the experience the recruiter cited as my reason for not getting the position (one I have years of professional experience in) . The entire experience was very unprofessional and concerning regarding company culture.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Nov 2018
Interview
Two Rounds, Both technical. They will ask you questions about technical, team management, also the behavioral. Which usually been asked in mostly company like amazon, ebay etc,. I found management is very very poor. If you go to them even HR person don't greet you with a smile simple will ask you to sit and wait. And if you are lucky you will get your interview started in an hour or two. After interview, interviewer told me that you have a positive feedback, our HR deptt will get back to you. But when i called HR after 10 days of interview to get any feedback. He simply said he don't have any feedback from interviewers, they are waiting for it. Feels like they need but until you go and knock the door again and again they will not help you any kind of information, feedback. Such a big organization, such a bad experience. Never go to them if you seriously want to do with your career. They don't have value for anyone's time.
