I applied online. I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2023
Interview
The interview process is a bit annoying. Seems like they never get back when you do the video interviews or later respond saying the job has been eliminated. But for this certain position, the process has been quick.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at UnitedHealth Group (Wauwatosa, WI)
Interview
Applied online 08/19/2015 through employee referral.
Got a phone interview 09/30/2015. Recruiter asked a couple questions: 1) Why do you want to work with United Health? 2) Why are you leaving your current position? 3) Name a time where you or another employee performed unethically. 4) Name a time where you took leadership and explain the outcome. 5) Name a time where you and another employee had a conflict and explain what you did and the outcome. Or something along the lines of that.
Was contacted 10/06/2015 through recruiter and went in for an in person interview 10/07/2015. Was asked a couple questions: 1) Tell me about yourself. 2) Why do you wish to work with this population (position works with SSI population)? 3) How do you handle working under stress/pressure? 4) How do you deal with unhappy/angry/upset customer? Etc.
Got an email 11/02/2015 to say that I’m still in consideration.
Got an email 11/16/2015 to say I’m no longer in consideration.
I may have been nervous but I thought it went pretty well. The manager during the in person interview was nice and laid back. The interview process was average, very typical. But 4 months? Really?
