Interview
1st Round :
Written test consisting of technical mcqs from OS, CN, DS and JAVA.
4 coding questions and 1 descriptive answering question
Questions :
1. Find the longest palindromic substring in a given string
2. Find the middle node of a linked list in a single pass
3. Given a sequence of numbers from 1 to n, not necessarily in sorted order. Find the missing and repeated number in the sequence.
4. Implement queue using stack(s).
5. Distributed system is scalable and fault tolerant. Explain how and why.
2nd round :
Technical discussion
Basic DBMS questions,testing, puzzles, questions related to agile development and project related questions.
3rd round:
HR round
Normal HR questions, questions related to the company

Interview
First contact after applying was a 10 minute recruiter call to talk about my experience. Process felt very rushed and did not leave any time for me to ask any questions. I don't think this was necessarily the fault of the recruiter but rather the short time limit set on the call. Afterwards I was asked to do a "pre recorded" interview asking mostly about DevOps concepts - yet another opportunity for me to be bombarded with questions and not be given the chance to ask any. The whole process just seemed like a red flag.
