So, I attended the UHG interview process for the role of Java developer on 9 March 2019 at Gurgaon office. I have an experience of around 4 years. Contrary to what I was told, it happened to be a walk-in drive with extreme rush. My interview timing was 9 A.M...So, I reached there on time but the process was really pathetic. After waiting for around 3 hours, I was asked to attempt a core Java based mcq test by one of the HRs. (This test was given on a random basis and not to all). After 10 minutes, due to space crunch, another HR came and asked everyone to vacate the room for the interview panels. Then she asked to submit the incomplete test as that was not a part of selection process but was given just for timepass.
There was no space even for standing inside the office premises. After that, we were told that there will be a hackerrank test of around 1 hour for everyone. For these many people, they had just 8 systems. So, after waiting for another 3 hours I got my turn to attempt the test. The coding question was extremely easy and the mcqs also covered basic Java concepts only. I scored very well of course. After an hour or so , I was called for my 1st round of technical interview. There were 2 guys in the interview panel. Actually in the very beginning , we were asked to mention the notice period related details on the top of resume. So, one of them asked me about the details regarding the current offers I am holding and the compensation related details to which I politely denied to reveal. Then they whispered something and gave weird expressions. They had already decided to reject me. Cool..!! Even I don't want to join a company with such immature bunch of people. After that I was asked 3-4 fresher level questions that I answered correctly and was asked to leave at around 5:30 pm.
I would recommend not to attend UHG interview at least on a weekend. There is hell lot of mismanagement in the process.
