Interview
Met with a recruiter for a phone interview and went over my experience and background, was invited to a technical interview that included questions about what I worked on in the past, my current role, and a coding assessment. I was told by the recruiter that the coding assessment was meant to be collaborative and more of a real world problem and not a leetcode type problem. While it wasn’t a leetcode type problem, it definitely was not collaborative or a “real world problem”. The interviewer was basically on mute the whole time and admitted at one point that he didn’t even know the language that I was using to complete the assessment (Java). If I would have known that I would have chosen a less verbose language that would have been better for the task, but I was under the impression it was a Java position. At the end of the interview there were time for questions and some of the interviewers answers shocked me around compensation and career growth. Overall not a good vibe.

Me gustó mucho el proceso, los reclutadores y los entrevistadores fueron muy amables y atentos. Siempre hubo una respuesta muy rápida después de cada entrevista.
