Job Description:

• Interview, select and provide/ organise orientation and initial job training of newly recruited employees
• Allocate work to workers to meet work schedules according to priority
• Assist and advise employees on ways to overcome problems encountered in the course of work
• Ensure that safety and security policies and quality standards are observed by all staff in the operations area
• Ensure disciplinary standards are established and maintained at all times
• To motivate, supervise and guide subordinates to develop their potential and to improve their performance
• Responsible for planning, directing and monitoring the respective area, including stocks receiving, order fulfilment, distribution operations and warehouse management
• Recommend improvements in warehouse practices to promote efficiency, productivity and lower costs
• To assess the labour availability and requirement and report to the manager to enable the warehouse manager to review the overall manpower situation in the department
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, OJT and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring and appraising job results
• Checking on workers' punctuality, attendance and ensuring compliance with the company's working procedure, safety policies and practices
• Monitor/ check/ inspect/ test all the warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet trucks, roller shutter doors, etc. to ensure it's in proper working order
• Organize and supervise good housekeeping of the warehouse, protection of the company’s property and safe working conditions for employees
• To plan and execute any ad hoc projects as instructed
• Any other duties as assigned by superiors

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management / Business Management / other relevant field of study
• At least 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience
• Possesses good interpersonal, communication and critical thinking
• Able to multitask and work independently
