Job Purpose

The Technical Officer, Power Rail, is responsible to perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of the power rails. He is also to perform fault attendance, fault diagnosis tests, troubleshooting, repairs and modifications to the components and equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Work in permanent night shift pattern (i.a.w. MOM guidelines), with shift pattern assigned by supervisors based on operation needs.

2. Work at heights to perform maintenance activities.

3. Perform Preventive Maintenance on Components and equipment, as assigned by supervisors.

4. Perform Corrective Maintenance on Components and equipment, as assigned by supervisors.

5. Perform modifications on Components and equipment, as assigned by supervisor.

6. Operate ground support equipment and tools, as assigned by supervisors.

7. Drive company vehicle for the purpose of work, as assigned by supervisors. (Applicable for those with Singapore Driving License)

8. Observe and report any safety concerns at the workplace.

9. Comply with various policies and regulations, eg SOP requirements, statutory regulations, regulator requirements, etc.

10. Undertake any other tasks or functions that are incidental or ancillary to the performance of the works, as assigned by supervisor. Examples include

a. Responding to emergency operations responses,

b. Assist in the execution of projects; including testing & commissioning, attendance to contractors, etc

c. Supervise contractors' work.

d. Preparation of reports.

Qualifications & Work Experience

Nitec in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering from a recognised institution.

Skills

• Able to use general tools and equipment.
• Able to read and write in English proficiently.
• Possess basic MS Office skills
• Able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
• Able to work independently
