      Great Company Culture

      Pros

      This company is great about developing their employees skills and abilities. Everyone who is part of the Blue Margin team partakes in a professional development plan that they personally design. If you are serious about growing your career, this a great place to find support and encouragement. They work hard, but they have a lot of fun doing it.

      Cons

      Because it is a relatively small company, and it is still fairly new(ish), there are the expected growing pains. But the leadership recognizes these limitations, and is constantly adjusting things to make it run as smooth as possible.

      Laid back place to work. Great work life balance. Above average pay for the location.

      Cons

      Toxic work culture. No body owns their mistakes. They think they have a start up mentality, but have 0 appetite for change or innovation. They want to keep doing the same job repeatedly. The work can get stale, tedious and boring. The place is plagued with nepotism hires and promotions. Their methodologies and processes are out dated.

      Blue Margin is a small but growing company, an ideal work environment for someone interested in escaping the "cubicle" life or for someone interested in advancing their career. At Blue Margin you are a valued team member, not a number. The environment is fast paced and constantly evolving, which keeps it interesting! I have learned a lot in a short amount of time, primarily because of our "roll up your sleeves and dig in" culture. I can't say enough about the team members I work with (they rock!) and how much I appreciate our commitment to company values. Senior Management is also fantastic about offering flexible work options, including creating your own schedule or working partially from home. Another great perk? We all participate in our Blue Margin Community Works program where you get paid to volunteer at local organizations. How great is that?

      I can't think of anything major off the top of my head.
