Pros
- it's good to start your career in the IT branch - reachable managers, even when you won't have what they promised - good environment to learn on adaptability and flexibility - managers are overall responsible people. When that's not the case they lose their job quickly. They are also understanding and flexible. - good parties and events
Cons
- most contracts with Accenture as a vendor are arranged with Hays. That means no bonuses, no health insurance and no benefits of any kind. They organise parties and events to make you feel like you belong, but you are obviously a second-class worker. - almost impossible to get a promotion of any kind - changing project doesn't mean you are getting a change of contract or pay - managers and recruiters lie too often: holidays, changes, promotions, contract conditions: example 1- my recruiter said he had already arranged my Christmas holidays with my manager. That never happened and my manager didn't know him at all. 2) my recruiter told me I would have two types of shifts. Wrong. On my first day at work I was told I would have to deal with a third late shift. 3) my recruiter told me I would have the opportunity to have a direct contract with Accenture after 6 months. No one ever offered that to me and I never met any colleague in my position who got it.
