Pros
For being as big of a company as they are, Accenture does a fairly good job listening to their employees. I am always impressed with how seriously they take the annual global survey results. I believe Bill Green is a great CEO, but unfortunately, I don't think his philosophy trickles down too far into the ranks.
Cons
One of Accenture’s biggest weaknesses is with the performance review and promotion process. It’s all about your tenure, who you know, and what project you’re on at the end of the performance year. Despite their claims, Accenture is not meritocracy. While I’ve been lucky with my promotions and pay raises, I’ve seen too many very smart, hard working individuals get passed over simply b/c of politics. Many end up being driven out of the company...
