Recently we went through a complex system change that upper leadership seemed blind to until the last minute. It was far too late and now I’ve been working almost 10-12 hour days all summer while seeing tons of accountholder complaints all over social media. It’s incredibly demoralizing.
The end isn’t even close to being in sight with major system components having been down since June.
We prepared for this for almost eight months but we still don’t have any of the talent or even people to work on it. Even outside of this change, the body of the work falls on one or two people in a team (who didn’t lie on their resume about technical skills).
Management believes in hiring those with soft skills and training but if your top performers are constantly babysitting and training those associates… on top of their elevated workload… with no recognition… they are not going to stay around long.
Avoid this company at all costs if you have any technical ability.
Executive leadership is out of touch and day to day leadership is even further behind
