Capital One’s hiring process is exhausting and disrespectful. Asking candidates to go through 5 rounds of interviews for a role that was likely already narrowed down to one person is a huge waste of time and energy. What makes it worse is the complete lack of meaningful feedback afterward. If someone invests hours preparing, interviewing, and following up, the least a company can do is provide constructive feedback instead of hiding behind “company policy” and refusing to disclose why the candidate wasn’t selected. Candidates deserve better respect, transparency, and consideration for their time.
