I never imagined people could be so incompetent at this company. The job seemed exciting and the team quick and efficient in recruiting. However, they basically hired and made me move to another country in the hopes to get all my contacts and knowledge from a top competitor, and gave me in return what turned out to be a lousy dead-end job. When I asked about the sales target and strategy, there were none. Brands were managed with such amateurism that products were launched months late and priced significantly higher than competitors. The assortment made no sense. When I asked my manager for feedback 1 month into the job, she just replied that she was glad to see me having lunch with the rest of the team. I was told during interviews that I would manage someone, but I couldn’t even attend her performance reviews. 2 months into this and I experienced mental health issues (and probably lost brain cells too). I resigned 1 month later. They don’t intend to replace me, which shows this job had no purpose. The company seems cool and dynamic from the outside, but it is a complete sad joke from within.
