      Pros

      I've heard that the career opportunities at KPMG are great, I've only been there for a few months so I do not have the expirence to confirm this. Everyone that I've met so far is very nice and trys their best to be helpfull. I personally enjoy the movement from client to client, switching teams and having the opportunity to interact and meet different people. Compensation is comparable to other big four, they offered the highest first year salary out of all of them but only by a few thousand.

      Cons

      Some incompetent staff slip through the cracks to become senior associates luckily they're routed out before making it to management.

      Pros

      It might sound cliche but the Pro for me is the people that I work with. I'm lucky enough to be staffed in a team with great leadership. Managers are actually willing to coach junior members and be a real mentor. I very much appreciate their efforts.

      Cons

      Long hours and office politics. This is pretty basic and obvious for any public accounting firms. Every time a quarter end, year end, or a special filing is going out, you can expect 10-14 hour days. It might be fine in your early career but it gets really tiring after a few years.
