Pros
Nice looking office with nespresso machines, free fruit and soft drinks. Decent working hours.
Cons
Singaporeans usually have to start on 6 month contract under an outsourcing company's payroll. As such you have rather poor benefits. Some staff have been on rolling 6 month contracts and have not been converted to permanent status. Incidentally Singaporeans seem to be a minority in the organisation. Very lean organisation. Company does not have a typical hierarchy e.g. you do not have junior and senior staff on a team, no team leaders, assistant managers or managers. It's usually a team of one (at least for non-developer positions) and the first level supervisor is at least a director. As such there isn't really anyone who can show you the ropes. I feel like your experience may vary significantly depending on your boss. Staff seem isolated and working on their own things. Did not get a feeling of a collaborative environment.
