Pros

- Great pay given it being a retail job ($14/Hr) - 30% Discount (Regular Priced Items Only) - Chance to move up every 3 months - Always something to do - Chance to gain experience in everything from stock, fitting room, cash, and sales floor (great for those with zero job experience)

Cons

- No diversity (Mostly Asians, making communication difficult between non- english speaking employees - 1.5 Hours of unpaid breaks making shift a total of 9.5 hours (Prepare to dedicate your entire day to Uniqlo, possible shifts include 7:30AM-5:00PM, 9:30AM- 7:00PM, 12:00PM-9:30PM, 1:30PM-11:00PM. just saying but the mall (Eaton Centre) opens at 10:00AM and closes at 9:30PM) (Beware if you live far as well) - Constant layout changes creating constant stress and pressure among employees - Mandatory writing down sales information daily (Let's be real nobody really cares about that stuff, what it really feels like is a constant reminder of how much this company cares about money) - Strict regulations

Pros

Your fellow associates are nice. The job isn’t very hard. Normal retail job

Cons

Management can be hit or miss. My manager was terrible and she made the whole job a terrible experience. This is very common for Uniqlo as they have little managers and they often get moved around a lot when people complain about them. Job is easy but if management are bad I would run
