Pros

This is not a target for sales people on the ground working there. They are nice people and they talk and treat people well.

Cons

I applied for a seasonal sales associate role at UNIQLO Mid City and was fully qualified—I had previous customer service experience, full work rights in Australia, no visa restrictions, and no upcoming travel plans. Despite meeting all the listed job requirements, I was rejected without explanation. When I went to the store for the interview, I noticed a complete lack of diversity—all employees were either White or East Asian, and I was the only brown South Asian candidate there. It felt like they had already decided who they wanted to hire based on appearance rather than qualifications. UNIQLO is a global brand, but this particular store seems to ignore diversity and inclusion in its hiring practices. If you are from a minority background, be prepared to feel out of place in their recruitment process. Would not recommend applying here unless you want to waste your time.

Pros

Your fellow associates are nice. The job isn’t very hard. Normal retail job

Cons

Management can be hit or miss. My manager was terrible and she made the whole job a terrible experience. This is very common for Uniqlo as they have little managers and they often get moved around a lot when people complain about them. Job is easy but if management are bad I would run
