Pros

The pay, the culture and the leads are great reasons to work here. I plan to retire here. No doubt in my mind. They have complimentary good coffee, healthy snacks and catered meals at the end of the month just to show they care. If you work hard you're rewarded, do your job correctly and effectively and you're recognized. It's a company that works hard for you as long as you work hard for them . THE BEST health insurance I've ever had. They take care of me and make me want to do my job efficiently so they never have a reason to let me go. I love my job and Zillow as a whole. TEAM ZILLOW FOR LIFE!!

Cons

The only con is that I love working here so much that I come here on days off. Hahaha, I have NO COMPLAINTS.

Hi, thank you for this glowing review! I'm glad the hard and thoughtful work of your managers and fellow employees is shinning through. We want you to be highly productive and happy in your work, and it sounds we've been successful so far. However, we never want to be complacent. So you can help. Call us out when we miss the mark, or don't uphold our core values. If you have an idea on how to make something better, please speak up. Ping me at jrg@zillowgroup.com or pop by my desk in Seattle any time. -JR Gast, VP Client Experience.

Pros

You can make good money here.

Cons

In sales, job can change often. For example: I was making good money and excelling because I am a relationship Sales person. Then they changed it to where you get the sale, and instead of being able to grow that account via that relationship you just broke into, you have to pass it to an account manager and go back to cold/robo calling. You "book" of business you recive to prospect from is a lottery. I received a book of prospects/accounts that most of the were low income, or senior living properties. They don't have a budget and have a line of renter on a waitlist. No way to convince them to spend money on advertising but you still have the same quota.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed perspective. We understand that frequent changes to roles, account ownership and business priorities can have a real impact on relationship-building and the day-to-day experience in sales. We’re glad to hear compensation was a positive part of your time at Zillow, and we appreciate you being candid about where the model and structure felt frustrating. Feedback like yours helps us better understand how these changes are experienced across teams as the business evolves.
