Pros

The team is extremely open and supportive. There are well defined processes and culture to promote remote work. The company has a culture that incetivizes a healthy work/life balance

Cons

Being a scale up, the organizational structure, roles and responsibilities are quite dynamic and sensitive to market pressures, so anyone working here needs to be able to adapt quickly.

Pros

- Head of Engineering is a great guy to work with. truly inspirational. - Other than a small number of individuals, the overall culture is very positive and each person goes out of their way to help others. - No hardliners, no micro-management, people understand each other and help each other. - Head of HR is a genuine guy, straight-up personality. Come directly to the point.

Cons

- Company lacked vision (at that time). Leadership and sales team especially were not able to reach their targets causing a deficit which in turn caused a lot of layoffs. The layoffs majorly impacted the engineering team only and not the sales and marketing which was sad to see. - Being a startup with series A funding, you should be focused more on sales initially to be cash-flow positive as quickly as possible or if you foresee that the graph is going to go down, focus all your engineering and sales effort on sustainability rather than new features.

Pros

This is a fantastic company that genuinely cares for its employees, making you feel valued rather than just a number in a large corporation. They encourage calls with C-level executives to discuss the company vision and strategy. They clearly outline your potential for development, providing great opportunities for personal and professional growth right from week 1. The high level of engagement helps combat feelings of isolation that can come with remote work. The onboarding process is excellent—you never feel alone, even with full control over your due dates. The work/life balance is amazing, allowing you to create your own schedule as long as you prioritize important meetings and get your work done. There's no micromanagement, which enhances productivity. Overall, the company culture is the best I’ve ever experienced.

Cons

The salary could be better and isn’t as competitive as at other companies, which is understandable for a startup. However, the pros definitely outweigh the cons for me. If a competitive salary is a top priority for you, this might not be the right fit.
