Pros
Hardly to think of any other than free coffee.
Cons
There are MANY issues with the company and its culture. I'm going to be very detailed in my review. Everyone should be fully aware of what is waiting for them if they were to join this company. - The company is full of toxic, self-centered, and ego-centered employees. Do as they want or be prepared to fight and enter endless discussions over smallest things. Of course there are good people too, but guess who's running the wheels? - Current employees have either stayed with the company 3+ years or have recently joined. The middle class is very small. The 3+ years employees are those who got hooked for one reason or other and now are either depressed or burnt out. Many of them have become toxic. - There is very high turn-over rate. The company is constantly hiring, not because they are growing as they like you to believe. People are leaving in masses. In fact, I heard the company is smaller than last year. - You get paid last working day of the month. There have been thousands of requests to make bi-weekly payments but the company has given a blind eye to all of them. - The company is relocating in August. New employees are finding this after they join and they suddenly realize their commute time will double soon. - The source code is GARBAGE. It is full of legacy stuff that no one want to work on. As a new employee I guarantee you that your first task will be maintaining the legacy code. - The code base has become spaghetti, no want dares to refactor code. Instead they add an abstraction on top of abstraction to be able to deliver - The main component is written in C++. They probably advertised C# or Java in job description. There is so much black magic in their code because the person who did it left and now no one knows how it works. - "It is possible that everyone is wrong and I'm right", "Employees come to work only for money", and "We spent so much time on this and no one has confidence it works as wanted" are real sentences I heard from management and senior developers in my first month at the company - The company culture is biased and employees form allies and groups. Groups speak in their native language. Russian speakers make the majority of the company, then there is Indians and Arabs.. All only speak in their native language. If you come and only know English, good luck. - I've heard many stories of employees being fired only because they disagreed with upper management. - I'm %100 confident the generic "GREAT PLACE TO WORK" reviews here are fake. I have reported them and I encourage everyone who thinks the same to report them. - There is no confidence in upper management. Employees don't trust the employee surveys and engagement because all the previous ones yielded no action or change. My advice is to avoid this company at any cost.
