Our team had a fruitful week in China! On 15 March 2023, close to 400 employees from Singapore and across the regions gathered at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre for the 2023 CrimsonLogic Staff Conference, making it the biggest employees’ congregation since the pandemic started in early 2020. With the conference’s theme: “Embrace Today, Envision Tomorrow”, the senior management shared their vision, addressed burning questions in a lively and informative Fireside Chat, and took time to stage a band performance to celebrate the company’s 35th Anniversary! It is indeed a timely celebration as covid restrictions were lifted in Singapore. On this special occasion, five employees were honoured with a special Long Service Awards, for their unwavering support and contributions over three decades in the company. Nine other individuals were also called out as recipients of the Crimson Heroes Awards for their outstanding contributions in business projects and achievements. Congratulations!

Last week, we had the privilege of hosting the management team from the Tianjin Eco-City Administrative Committee 天津生态城管委会 and Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co., Ltd.-Singapore 中新天津生态城合资公司 at our HQ in Singapore. The Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city is the second flagship Government-to-Government project between Singapore and China. Launched in 2008, the Tianjin Eco-City project allows both countries to explore new collaborations and share best practices in sustainable development. Today, more than 130,000 people live or work in the eco-city. Our discussion centred on the growth industries and focus areas for the Tianjin Eco-City, and how Singapore enterprises like CrimsonLogic can play a bigger role in establishing the technological framework for trade compliance for businesses in Tianjin looking to export their goods overseas. Our Senior Management Team gathered on 2 and 3 February for a LEADERFISH+ workshop jointly facilitated by PSA Group Human Resource, PSA Group Corporate Affairs, and PSA University. LEADERFISH+ is a holistic program designed to provide leaders with a deeper understanding of the FISH! and FISH+ Principles, enhancing the way they lead, empowering organisational performance, and driving business success. PSA’s Regional CEO Southeast Asia Ong Kim Pong opened the workshop by emphasising the importance of the FISH culture in enabling high performance. Also as the Chairman of CrimsonLogic’s Board of Directors, he shared his vision for CrimsonLogic to flourish by embracing FISH. The workshop was a great introduction to the fundamental concepts behind creating a great Smell of the Place and the type of leadership that engenders this.
