The future at NCS is LIT! 🔥 We recently signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic to kickstart 2 new Work-Study Diploma programmes at the SkillsFuture SG Work-Study Fair 2023. The event was graced by Guest-of-Honour Siow Huang Gan, Minister of State for Education and Manpower, who announced the launch of 9 new SkillsFuture Work-Study programmes by the Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs). Our collaboration with the 3 polytechnics aims to further our partnership to fuel the NCS Ignite Programme – a work and study programme designed for Institute of Technical Education students to attain diplomas. Under the MoU, students can get a headstart in Full Stack Development or Software Engineering with a Part-Time Diploma – building industry experience by turning classroom learning into real-world solutions. By marrying both technical expertise with real-world applications, we endeavour to contribute to the growth of Singapore’s tech talent. Embracing Nature, Creating a Greener Future! We're delighted to be a part of the #OneMillionTrees movement, a nationwide initiative by National Parks Board (NParks) aimed at transforming Singapore into a City in Nature by 2030. Just 2 days ago, 40 passionate NCS employees participated in this green initiative by uniting to plant 40 trees on Sisters' Island! Together, we're sowing the seeds for a sustainable future, one tree at a time! Every little effort counts toward paving the way for a more sustainable future, in line with NParks' City in Nature vision, a key pillar of the Singapore Green Plan 2030.
