I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Pune) in Nov 2014
Interview
Interview Process is fairly simple. One technical round, followed by HR round. Interview usually happens in IBM's office or you will have a telephonic interview from the office premises itself. If you clear your both the rounds, then they take biometrics or if crowd is more, then they will call you on next day. Offer letter takes about a month to come. They usually release offer letter after all the backgrounds checks are done.

After online application submission, next step was a machine-based interview. The Recorded Competency Video is a short assessment that allows you "to demonstrate your workplace competency beyond what a traditional resume allows. You will be presented with a pre-recorded question, and you will be asked to record your response . This is a timed assessment."
"This recorded interview will take between 10-20 minutes to complete. You will respond to multiple prerecorded interview questions. For each question you will be given 1 minute to prepare and 3 minutes to respond."
I was presented with four questions in total. There was a practice question available that lets you get a feel for the process.
